EISENMAN :: intensity of the passé-partout.
As the charged reframing, the in-between.

BALMOND :: intensity as organization.
Of flow. Through pattern and connectivity.

LYNN :: intensity through force.
Of movement, understood locally within contextual, global condition.

VAN BERKEL :: intensity via layering.
By mapping primary elements of construction, circulation and program.

It seems like intensity is the passé-partout, or even better, intensity is the nonpassé-partout (key that won't open any doors!)
